in the last few days , there was a server named " the lost paradise II " so is it really the second lost paradise , or someone made it up??

Yeps, its a new server on our dedicated business line @ work. I still had some "old" servers running, which are`nt used really, so i decided to install some stuff on it Its a Dell PowerEdge 2650 with a Xeon 2.8Ghz.

TLP II had some lag issues today. At a few moments all pings went up to over 300. But overall the server plays good, not much different from server I. Although I get killed by choppers in hallways now and then. For example on AA when you run trough the long hallway of PSI spawn to get the object.. but thats just an old gamebug on windows servers =)

All had those lag spikes yesterday 2. They happened between the round change so they didnt feck up the gameplay itself. The pings went high and as soon as they got high they went down...

Atleast the choppers and spawn trucks do fire, preventing a lot of spawnkilling. But sometimes its hard for them to see the difference between an open area and a closed one. Maybe i could hex edit the maps and change the sight of the choppers/trucks, mostlikely they can "see" 3000 units far, setting this to 2000-2500 could possible this issue.

The server is 4 years old, so the fsb is only 533Mhz and the memory is ddr1, so loading maps takes a little longer and thats when you get those spikes.
