i downloaded some maps and can't figure out how to get them to work. i tried placing all the files in the correct places, like putting the ".dat" files into the "worlds" directory. i think that's what i'm supposed to do. but whenever i start the game up i can't find the new levels anywhere. can i get some help please?

That maps are for Multiplayer, so u can join in a server that have them. U can test it too with a program called Go-Edit

I think that program will be in the Section Downloads of www.thelostparadise.com. There are a map for singleplayer called "Los Angeles" but is very cute

ok, so that answers that part of the question. the other part is after i download the maps how do i set it up so that these levels can be played in multiplayer? was i doing it right before? putting the ".dat" files into the "worlds" directory? if that's what i'm supposed to do, what do i do with the other files they come with? the ".dtx" files or whatever they are?

There are some maps that have autoinstall, but u have to put where want to install (in the directory that u have installed the game). The archives *.dtx are textures and u have to put in the folder called textures where u had installed the game too. ps: I am spanish, so maybe u have problems to understand my english. Maybe Spookstah can explain better
