Well mine works this way: i double click go.exe on my desktop and i get the error message. After i get the error message that go is allready running then I click ok button or what ever it is and then double click my go.exe icon on my desktop once again and dadaa it launches normally.

it didnt work that way , but i found a way to make it work
you go to your global ops directory , click right click on the Globalops.exe, then select combabitlity tab , and click on run in windows 2000

nvm you have it running already xD
If you think it's Norton causing the problem, try turning it off/disable and start GO.. If GO doesn't work then the problem is not Norton ;)

This problem appears in Windows XP Proffesional X64 Service pack 2 unable to solve it so far . Run as Root user ain't work, compatibility settings have no effect .
Last try is to run it with Ubuntu + Wine
