I whas thinking about changing the map list and add other/more maps, but only really good maps (no maps like closercombat or 4way, i respect all the work the mappers did, but those are`nt really good maps to play). I whas thinking about Mogadishu, Enemymine (not perfect eather), market? (dunnow if its good) and maybe Villabacho. I can remove all those overkill weapons/equipment from Villabacho and change the sliding door so it will not slide forwards, but to the side or in the ground, its just a little bit hacking with a hex editor. I hope a lot of people will react, but i doubt it

I'm not a big fan of custom maps... there not better then Quebec or Colombia for instance. But you can always add them to the list so if people want to play it they can vote for it.

Well basically ive installed map pack just to keep online and hang around and maybe get few kills while playing customs But yes add em maybe ill hang around

Mogadishu was a very funny map. Enemy is very dark for my taste Villabacho is fine too

well first thanks spokey for changing , and i suggest the original maps , for excample uganda , and sahara is good , mogadishu is very good map , but i didnt see enemy mine yet or the villabacho

And maybe you could set a diffrent map first in the map rotation instead of Antarctica..? =)

Antartica is the most wanted/played map in GO, whether we like it or not and i do think we should not remove it, but it can be moved lower in the list.
Also an option could be, making some sort of overhauling of the map, so wallshooting (which also lot of people hate, but is intentionaly in the game) is not possible anymore. Maybe it is possible to "hack" the .dat file and change the textures to concrete/stone walls, but more important the "nature" of the materials used, because when changing texture from steel/iron to concrete/stone, the "nature" is not changed so you will still see iron bulletholes and hear iron sound.

Most players these days start crying about wallshooting when they even see a 50. kill... "hey it's AA and I'm running near a window.. how can that 50. kill me? OMG WTF WALLSHOT!" They don't even look where the sniper position is, they just asume it's a wallshot. And if someone with a FAL or AK sprays through the wall inside the warehouse you hear no one complain??

More seriously, here is an example of what you say, and which puts in my liking a small problem almost as much as when it's made with an AW (saddened for Mundek and Tsunade ; I specify that it's a old screeshoot): Nevertheless "wallsnipeshoot" concerns only a very small number of players, I counted 5 at most, and so much which make it with one "Rambo gun". Otherwise tested Villabancho early afternoon and openly really not great . More closed it doesn't exist, in more I have the impression that the map "ram" a little. I propose "Beach" on the place, which is also enough "closed" by moment but the "Wolfenstein "atmosphere is so better... It has not look well seen as it frankly ?

Ive already changed the list a bit, and put an modified VillaBacho on the server (and in the list). I`ve removed the Chopper Turret Gun, 2 LAWS, all Timed C4, LSD and the med*ckits, also did change the strenght of the blowable door/gate to the church and the spritefx when its blown. The door/gate can be blown now with 3 fragnades, instead of 3 timed C4.

There is a problem with beach, which we did find out after the final map whas released. The map will crash when using thermal goggles and/or nightvision, i believe it crashes both client and server.

About the wallshooting issue @ AA: I find the wallshooting through the 'sidedoor' a bit lame and ofcourse the walling with the AW50, especially when its guided by a recon. But the wallshooting inside of the warehouse, shooting through the wooden floors and walls is fair in my opinion. There are enough boxes inside the warehouse that can function as hiding place, and hiding behind a wooden sheet is ur own repsponsibility Regards

And sad bug for "Beach", it was a nice map, what a pity... I shall like knowing what you think of "trenches". For me it's the fine map also, which have the advantage to not be "closed" too much, as the majority of maps are at present. It's perfect for 8 players and more.

i find different maps great to play
AA will always stay the most played map today in the server they where constantly voting for aa
i miss 1 map thats ugunda great map to play
